Key Account Manager Commercial Vehicles (m/f/d)

Job description

For more than 90 years, ERICH JAEGER has been developing and manufacturing high-quality connectors for various industries. In addition to many well-known automobile and commercial vehicle manufacturers, companies from other other industries are among our customers. Currently, more than 1000 employees work at our corporate headquarters in Germany, three production sites in Mexico, the Czech Republic and China as well as sales offices in the USA, France, Poland and Italy.

To strengthen our team in Friedberg in the Frankfurt/Main area we are looking for a Key Account Manager for the Commercial Vehicle area. Through regular customer visits you will develop our international customer base. In addition, you will develop sales strategies and participate in the preparation of calculations, benchmarks and market analyses.


  • Development of the existing customer base of OEM/OES customers in Germany and abroad
  • Acquisition of new projects in the sectors commercial vehicle, agricultural technology and defense vehicles
  • Execution of project offers in cooperation with customers and internal departments
  • Conducting negotiations with OEM/OES customers
  • Regular customer visits to build up and expand customer relationships
  • Development of budget and strategy plans for the relevant customer group
  • Monitoring and ensuring long-term profitability of responsible projects and customers
  • Reporting and preparation of calculations, participation in benchmarks and market analyses
  • Participation in trade fairs


  • Successfully completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, or comparable qualification
  • Experience in sales of automotive products in the OEM and OES area
  • Business fluent in English, other foreign languages are an advantage
  • Good knowledge in the use of MS-Office and SAP
  • Assertive personality, with high self-motivation and good manners
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
